The 5th Annual Vincent William Baran Day of Service will take place from Saturday, September 20 - Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Saturday, Sept. 20, and
Sunday, Sept. 21: Volunteer service project kickoff weekend! Most projects will occur on these two days.

Monday, Sept. 22 to Friday, Sept. 26:
Each day of this week, we will have a combination of daytime projects for adults and late afternoon/evening project for adults and kids.

Saturday, Sept. 27:
Join us for the Friends of the Poor Walk! No service projects this day … let’s all come together and finish the week in a big way.

Here are the official numbers:

  • 486 volunteers performed 1,032 hours of service supporting 25 organizations

  • 69 pairs of shoes and 300 toys and games were donated to those in need

  • $10,000 was donated to the Vincent William Baran Charitable Fund, which we'll divide among the nonprofits with which we partnered for volunteer projects

Thank you again as always for your help in bringing joy and love to the world through service. You are the key to making all of this happen--we just happen to be facilitators who are trying to make it easy. We're tremendously grateful for everyone who participated both near and far.

The mission of the Vincent William Baran Day of Service is to bring joy, passion, empathy, and love to the world through an annual day of in-person service. The Vincent William Baran Day of Service is an enduring, annual event, with the vision of it becoming one of the largest days of focused volunteer activity in the United States. We are so grateful for our many family members and friends who are also committed to this mission for the long-term.
